| Yering Equestrian Park became home to my daughters horse for 7 months due to her work commitments in Melbourne. Yering Equestrian came to our attention via the internet and after hearing other stories from friends about agistment not being what it was meant to be for numerous reasons e.g. horses not being fed, rugs not changed, no lights on arenas and a general lack of care and attention we decided to go and look at what was on offer, because the facilities looked fantastic.
Meeting with Jane and after a tour of her property, Casey and Bob took up residence almost immediately. Yering Equestrian has been our home away from home, the facilities are second to none and the care and attention that we received for horse and rider were exceptional. The advantages to us were now that Casey was working she was having trouble finding daylight hours to ride, but the indoor dressage arena with lights made an insurmountable problem easy. Casey would arrive after work Bob was stabled and fed, the tack room and wash bay were all under the same roof as the indoor arena, everything was great. In finding Jane another of our problems were solved because as Casey was only 18 she was not able to tow a float on her P Plates but as everything was at her disposal this also was no longer a problem. The reservations and concerns we had as parents were many about Casey and Bob going to Melbourne, but as she was so unhappy there without him it was fast becoming the hardest decision we had. Yering Equestrian made our decision so easy, Jane and her staff have been magnificent in every aspect of their care to our daughter and her horse. Jane herself has also brought Casey and Bob so far together, they have developed into a great team under her excellent tutelage. The only reason for leaving after this time is that we couldn’t take the country out of the girl and she has returned home. To Jane Jones we are indebted to for making their time in Melbourne the happiest and best looked after they have ever been (Bob still hasn’t gotten over no hot wash!) and if in the future was have a need to return to Melbourne, Yering Equestrian Park will be the first port of call.
