CLIENT QUOTES:
Seven years ago the opportunity presented itself to “get serious” about riding again once weekend sporting commitments with my children eased off a bit.  I rejoined the local dressage club and then was recommended Carol as a coach. Then began a journey that took me and my anglo arab  Eyre from an unbalanced, scatty and undisciplined beginning through to a great partnership in the ranks of Medium level dressage culminating in winning the Yarra Valley Dressage Club Medium championship for 2009 and 2010.

Having trained 2 ex race horses up the ranks to Grand Prix, Carol knows that not every horse is a gifted purpose bred animal. With her pragmatic “never say never” attitude she has the ability to hone in on the strengths and weaknesses
of each horse and rider to effectively bring out their best, even little anglo arabs!  She is a great communicator and will explain again and again until you and your horse understand.  She will push you and your horse out of your comfort zone but be continually coming back, testing and reinforcing the basics.

I have been lucky enough to have had Carol Ross as my dressage teacher for a few years.  Not only did she find my beautiful horse for me, she has taken him from his life as a show hack to a Medium level dressage horse.  She has a unique ability to understand the horse she is training, and, with a very keen eye for horse and rider, get the best out of both.  I have heard many of her students say – “nobody gets us going as well as Carol.”  I totally agree!

I have trained with Carol Ross for 6 years and in that time we have turned my thoroughbred eventing mare into an Advanced dressage horse. Carol has an instinctual way of getting the best out of both horse and rider. Her clear and concise way of training, along with the fact that she will always go back to basics if things go wrong, has been invaluable in my training. I am training my young warmblood with Carol and confident that with Carol's expertise we
will reach FEI levels of competition.
